MY EXPERIENCE

With 20 years experience in the not-for-profit sector, I’ve supported and led diverse teams and individuals nationally and internationally. I’m motivated by the empowerment, development and mental wellbeing of people. I’m inspired by life-changing impacts people experience when they understand themselves, their values, their rights and capabilities and have the courage and self-belief to act on these.

COACHING AND ME

In 2017, as I blinked and my babies were suddenly 2 and 4 years old, I realised I had lost sight of how I wanted my life to be. I panicked about the passing of time and fragility of life and I started to experience a growing desire to live a more purposeful, balanced and fulfilling existence. One that protected and supported my values and the things that were most important to me.

……. And there my coaching journey began………

With the support of coaching, I embarked on a path of self-exploration and created a lifestyle that holistically satisfied all aspects of who I am. My values and drivers; me as a person, a parent, a friend and a wife; my personal and mental wellbeing; my interest in the world and people around me; my independence and my career.

Coaching helped me develop an empowering self-awareness as I explored the experiences, challenges and achievements that have moulded who I am. I began to understand the root of the assumptions and beliefs that I hold about myself and the world around me, and I learnt to embrace and welcome my imperfections and vulnerabilities.

Exploring my personal experiences around parenthood, work-life balance, career drive, impostor syndrome and self-doubt was liberating and powerful, enabling me to shift mindset and find the self-belief, confidence and strategies to move forward with greater clarity and purpose.

......... And I want to help others experience this!........

Supporting others in this way plays to my inherent strengths of actively listening with compassion and respect, building trust and empathising with others without judgement. This enables me to build a supportive, safe and empowering space for people to reflect, refocus and reframe.
